Community Coastal Grant Supports Dune Rehabilitation

The City of Greater Geraldton with help from Batavia Coast Network, Planet Ark and with funding from NACC NRM’s Coastal Community Grants has completed a Glenfield Dune Resilience Project.

New Coastcare Support Officer Role

NACC NRM is excited to announce a new role in the NACC team which will provide support to coastal community groups across the Northern Agricultural Region. The new Coastcare Support Officer role is currently vacant with recruitment underway.

Photowhat..? Photomon!

Photomon is a photo-monitoring smartphone app designed for recording and ‘databasing’ environmental change over time. It’s a great tool to support natural resource management projects, simplifying monitoring efforts whilst improving the quality of results.

Change Starts Gnow - Malleefowl Protection Program Running at Full Speed

NACC has established a partnership with SAF Ltd in allocating land to re-establish Malleefowl habitat over a three year period.

New Coastcare Support Officer Role

The Coastcare Support Officer role will be based in the region and be required to travel to coastal communities all over the Northern Agricultural Region to engage with and support community groups, schools and relevant local government authorities.

2020 Vision for a Healthier Planet

The International Year of Plant Health in Australia #IYPH2020
The United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization are leading the International Year of Plant Health and it is being celebrated here in Australia too! The year was declared by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2018 with the goal being to raise awareness on the importance of protecting plant health globally.

Growing Great Ground

This project will focus on delivering on-ground activities on farms and semi-rural landholdings, as well as holding a series of field days and workshops that will involve skilled and knowledgeable project partners to get the best information out to local land managers.
