Somewhat inevitably our doors will reopen at 6am on Sunday which is great timing for the activities below. But we do have to be careful so a reminder;
Not to enter the premises if feeling unwell
Ensure that you either scan the QR code or sign in on the contact sheet
Use hand sanitiser
After your match please wipe all contact surfaces using the spray foam and cloths provided
Summer League
If Chris and Hixy can arrange their catch-up games tomorrow and/or play two on Monday we should be able to bring the league to a close on Monday and announce the winners. Should matches not be caught up they will need to be defaulted as past experience makes clear that leagues do not conclude if not completed with in the scheduled timeframe.
Senior interclub
A reminder of interclub appears below together with enrolment fees applicable. The competition will now start on Monday 15th March. Graham will convene a captains meeting(s) to ensure they have the resources they require.
Junior coaching
Will resume on Monday with an emphasis on Squash Fit, a fitness programme for squash, that I believe will benefit our youngsters.
Further club upgrade
You may have noticed that about 10% of our fluoro tubes have failed and the ceiling tiles are delapidated to the point that they are starting to fall out. I'm delighted to report that we've reached agreement with the council that they will refurbish the ceilings and complex lighting (c.$35K) if we finance replacement of court lighting (c.$15K). The committee have committed to this course of action but if any member has reservations please let me know. These enhancements to my mind future proof the sporting facility and can only be a good thing both long and short term.
Autumn Interclub enrolment
Here are our confirmed squads entered for Autumn interclub. The Autumn league will be played on Monday nights from 15th March for 5 weeks and cost $20/ player to cover competition fees & balls. Matches are played alternately home and away from 7pm.

We will shortly gain our first senior interclub tennis player from the adjoining tennis club in Zac Wills who, based on his past grading, should round out our top mens squad.
