Interclub - we remain in the top 2 in 5 of the 6 leagues.

Welcome to Emily Tarbotton who has joined as a keen sportsperson with good interclub potential. Farewell to Stephen Barker who after a long stint has finally paid heed to his injuries.

Interclub Results

Firstly, a request to players to make your captain's job manageable by advising of any unavailability by the day before wherever possible. In each of the first two rounds there has been a withdrawal on the day with both affected teams subsequently losing narrowly to almost certainly crash out of contention.

Despite these defaults our team remain strongly placed with our second womens team the best placed currently;

M1: 2nd
M2: 1st
M3: 2nd
M4: 2nd
W1: 3rd
W2: 1st

Superchamps needed!

We've had a disappointing response to player eligibility with unavailability or disinterest spoiling our prospects of Mens D & Ladies D grade participation and depriving keen players of the opportunity to participate. At this stage it looks as if we shall be fielding a Mens E grade team this year with the possibility of a Mens C grade team as well.

The Mens E grade team will be lodged on Weds and comprises; Laurie/ Lua/ Matt S/ Alex with 3 further players to be confirmed.

Should any Mens or Ladies D/E grade players be persuaded to reconsider their unavailability we are just 2 players short in those divisions.

A reminder that the competition will runs from July 22-26 with the prospect of between 3 & 4 matches and no interclub that week. Two or three training sessions will be arranged and the tournament will serve as good preparation for our own tournament the following weekend.
