Summer League

Great to get this underway and thanks to all those who turned out on Thursday at short notice and in a couple of cases have since played catch-up matches. The current table is shown below showing Team D with a significant lead although helped by Sophie having played two matches. Seed 3 results are wrong in that Mark played Daniella but this doesn't affect team scores and will be corrected after round 2 tomorrow. I'm aware that Chris is unavailable for his match vs Matt Miller, please let me know of any other absences.

Senior interclub

Teams have to be in on Friday. After talking with Graham we've created some draft squads. These are shown below and we'll have the chance to catch up with most squad members tomorrow night.

Junior coaching

Looking really good with all term four Monday night players bar one returning tomorrow and Hayden & Zach adding to the ranks. K.O. 4.30pm.

Ladies coaching

This is somewhat in limbo following the COVID scare and, with the need to address a couple of other matters, will not start tomorrow. I'll be in touch with those expressing interest this week but feel free to make contact if keen to enroll. $69 for 6 weeks.

Roof update

Made good progress last week thanks to some good weather and I'm told will now be completed by the end of this week. Additionally, we have received a further quote for the ceiling and court lighting renovations which is currently being progressed.

Autumn Interclub enrolment

We ended last season with 3 men's and 3 women's teams and there's a good chance that we can sustain those numbers but we do need your support. There have been a number of enquiries about female membership recently which should top up ranks but I'd welcome a couple of extra guys.

Here are the draft squads but these will change as numbers are confirmed. Note that you can always move up a team but not down so we tend to leave more strength at the base.

The Autumn league will be played on Monday nights (Mens 1 - Tuesday) from 8th March for 5 weeks and cost $20/ player to cover competition fees & balls. Matches are played alternately home and away from 7pm.
