Welcomes and farewells!

Farewell to a couple of our ladies, Sarah Gard'ner who's taking a break after playing quite a few matches for the club and also to Laura Hilson who has returned from injury but is not yet ready to return. We hope to see you back in the future.

Interclub Results

It's not often that I can report 100% success from all our interclub teams as shown below! This week sees every team in a crunch fixture against the other top 2 team and I've indicated below which teams are at home should you be able to offer support.

Winter 2 enrolment

This has come round really quickly due to the abbreviated length of the present league with entries due this Fri 10th July. In the case of continuing teams it should be straightforward with captains requested to confirm ongoing player involvement.

There will be a need to re-shuffle line-up's based on current gradings and we also hope to lodge a further female team entry thanks to burgeoning numbers on Weds night and recent investment in beginner coaching.

This league will run from 27th July to 21st Sept so players missing out will be out of action until the final couple of months of the year.

Entry fee will be $30 to cover enrolment and ball costs. Please revert if you require further information.

"E" grade Superchamps team

Ultimately we were only able to get the one team over the line but it's a good one featuring;

Lua Li/ Laurie Jury/ Matt Steven/ Tanmay Desai/ Warren McLuckie/ Alex Bisset/ Rhys Ford-Jones + Surya Sathish (reserve)

We are seeded 4th and will likely be in the same pool as top seeds, North Shore, who undoubtedly represent our biggest threat. Training kicks off this Tues at 7pm with the first 2 matches at Henderson and the last 2 at Franklin.

There is an urgent need to get our 3 remaining unqualified interclub players through this qualification to remain eligible for interclub and, in one case, Superchamps. This session should help them along the way and all would be welcome..
