Ladies night - Weds from 6.30pm Mens beginners - Tues from 7pm Club night - Thurs from 7pm
Great news this week that the Lion Foundation have awarded us $9,200 to cover the cost of our new LED lighting to follow the council meeting the cost of the new ceilings and lighting throughout the rest of the complex. This is a substantial cost saving for the club and the committee are now contemplating redirecting some of the funds to a club room renovation.
The court upgrade will commence on 26th April with the builder keen to trial his design on court 4 in the first week before progressing to other courts over an envisaged 4 week period.

Chelsea School squash programme
This week I ran a Chelsea school squash programme comprising 2 lessons delivered to years 3-6 kids and culminating in the inter-class champs played in the school hall. We unearthed a lot of talent with certain families now included in this e-mail distribution. Welcome to those families who we hope to get to meet soon.
Autumn Interclub final
Another strong week of results for our interclub teams. M1 benefited from Brent Anderson's return to take 11 points and get within 8 points of the leaders. W1 had a good win to lie 3rd with a match against the leaders next week and two points to catch up on the league leaders M2 players all won to lead the table by a point with a big last game in prospect, M3 lacking their 2nd seed had a hard night against Howick losing 7/6. W2 lost 9/2 to EE but W3 trounced BB 9/1 to lead the table by 2 points and be one of probably 3 teams in contention for the pennant approaching the final round.
