An excellent first round of results with our three ladies teams all winning with just the one player losing on the night. Especially good to see Sophie winning her first match after promotion to the top team.

The mens teams did slightly less well with both our top "Slayers" team and bottom "Sharpshooters" team suffering reverses. The lower team  got pipped 9/8 despite being a player short so if anybody out there would like to kick off their interclub career as an advanced beginner then Rhys or I would be keen to hear from you. In the top team. Zac got some runs under his belt as a club newcomer with only Brent winning a match to return to B2. The Shredders continued their winning ways with a 14/5 win.

A couple of new memberships to report. Ex-Devonport junior, Catie Levell, is keen to pick ip a racket again after a 3 year break and will be a good interclub addition after getting back in the groove.
Sid Devanroy joins as an enthusiastic 7yo keen to gain experience in the sport.

Well done to Matt Miller who recently made C2 and Matt HIx D1. Laurie made D2 thanks to the recent grading band shift (men gained 100 points) with Rhys climbing to E1.

Harder on the ladies with the changing bands shuffling both Bridget & Sam back to D grade. If they can stay there until 11 June we will have an excellent D grade Superchamps team (played 27 July - 1 Aug).
