Club Shirts/ singlets

For some time we have been trying to get sizings for personalised club shirts or singlets with our sponsors subsidising the cost down to about $30. The shirts will really create a clear identity for our players in both interclub and Superchamps and it would be great if you could try on a shirt at the club this week ahead of us placing the order (see design below).

Club Renovations

Great to get these underway which means we will be down a court for the next 5 weeks .

Interclub underway this week

All set to go for the next league with very few withdrawals from previous squads and quite a few new female faces.

Membership renewals

Just 7 members unpaid for the new membership year, thanks for the quick response to reminders. :-)

Junior coaching

We now have10 new youngsters enlisted for coaching on the back of the Chelsea school programme which represents a strong injection of fresh talent into the club.

New members & grade improvements

A strangely subdued week with no interclub and with a court out of action. But we hosted some busy club nights and the holiday programme was a lot of fun (see photos above). I'm sure there will be more to report next week.

The Belmont tournament is sure to feature some of our ladies, get in early in case they close off entries.

CLUB REFS EXAM

Only Elaine Xu attended the monthly rules session on Thursday and remarkably passed the refs exam without ever playing a graded match. Congrats to Carmen for also passing leaving just 3 further interclub players to gain the qualification.
