M1: Now placed in the top 4 after a convincing 10/3 win vs Belmont with skipper Martyn on a run of 3 consecutive wins.
M2: Bye this week which led to a Tuesday team practice session. Have dropped to second but the league leaders have yet to have their bye so good chance of finishing top of the league.
M3 (Graham): Another convincing 10/7 win vs Royal Oak to move to second. Gets interesting now as the top team has their bye next week and then play our team in the last round.
M4 (Rowan): At the half way stage this team looked doomed but sets secured by Lee & Rowan counted in the final analysis as Andrew and Nico won their contests to bring it home.
M5 (Eric): Three players won sets but none a match so a 12/3 loss to Royal Oak. With the bye to play next week our Start Ups team looks like picking up the wooden spoon.
W1: Got a team on the park but our #'s 1 & 2 were well outranked leaving Sophie to (deservedly after previous rounds) pull a match back for a 3/7 result.
W2 (Shahrane'e) vs W3 (Misty): This contest didn't quite eventuate with W3 defaulting one of the 3 matches and with a 3/0 result each way Shahranee's team won 6/3. The two teams are now tied in 4th equal but W2 appear best placed with the prospect of reconvening their previously defaulted Henderson fixture.

Some unfortunate implications from our grade improvements this week. Hixy deservedly pushed up to "C" grade after two recent wins against C2's thus disqualifying himself from our D grade Superchamps team. And Andrew did likewise to our E grade team in moving to D grade after gaining 100 points in an encounter with a player on considerably more points.

There's a lot of maintenance work underway currently, Investigations have commenced into the unpleasant smell at the end of the downstairs corridor, the broken office door leading to the tennis courts has been reported, new ventilation fans will be installed shortly and the lounge heat pump should be in place by the end of next week. We had a significant leak on court 1 during today's downpour which shouldn't have occurred. If you happen to come across a leak in any part of the complex I'd welcome photos to provide to council as evidence.
