Last round before a week's break and we're in pole position in 3 leagues, see details below of proposed teams for the new module and rsvp if you're excluded but keen.

Congrats to the Sathish brothers who both won the plate in their respective Auckland junior open divisions. Tarun took out a couple of C1's while Surya beat his first E1 in Max Bailey. Top results!

Commiserations to Ernie who fared less well in the Papakura tournament confronted with higher graded opponents.

Welcomes and farewells!

Welcome to Mark Laurenson who joins as a local cricketer with good squash potential. The membership renewal period has now ended and the graph below shows the outcome.

Roughly 30% of our members through 2019/20 have departed (being a typical proportion) but we have already gained 8 new members with the prospect of a couple more next week. Our immediate target is to restore the club to 100 members with the longer term target being 200.

Interclub Results

Another series of really good results this week and with one title secured we have a good prospect of two, maybe three more. Sadly, pennant flags are not being awarded for this league so we will have to find another way of celebrating our success(es). Here are the league positions ahead of the last round this Monday and Tuesday (Mens 1), all matches from 7pm;

W1: 3rd (H) 3 points behind leaders
W2: 1st (A) 14 point lead, done deal!
M1: 1st (A) 2 point lead, vs bottom team
M2: 4th (A) 6 points behind leaders
M3: 2nd (H) 5 points behind leaders
M4: 1st (H) 1 point lead

Interclub draft squads

Broadly speaking our current players will transition to the new league but some team changes are needed and excitingly we look likely to lodge a further womens team. Here's an outline of the likely teams;

There are a few further players outside of this mix who it would be good to include if they could confirm their interest. Enrolment deadline is this coming Saturday.

This league will run from 27th July to 21st Sept and the entry fee will be $30 to cover enrolment and ball costs. Please revert if you require further information.

"E" grade Superchamps update

Weekly training is now underway with the next session at 6pm this Tuesday. Additionally, the squad are getting casual matches in and should be well prepped for both Superchamps and our tournament from July 30-Aug 1.

The match schedule has been confirmed as;
