We moved!  After years of operating Freedom Inc from a 10x10 office space, we've finally found a new home for at least the next 2 years.  We are so excited to have moved into a larger space with plenty of room for our growing staff and all of our activities.  Our new space has been blessed by Black, Cambodian and Hmong healers.  Come visit us at:

Debra's Love Cooperative

Debra's Love Cooperative is Freedom Inc's newest social enterprise project. This cooperative uplifts the fashion art of local womyn, queer, and trans folx of color and provides free clothing to trans and gender non-conforming youth of color through a voucher program. We are currently looking for donated clothes and donation sites. Contact us at debraslovethriftboutique@gmail.com or debraslovecoop on Facebook.
Peyton Featured in Ad
Our youth leader Peyton Yang is featured in an MG&E commercial called "Breakdancing with a Purpose: Building Community and social justice." It also features Maivnyiaj Moua and other members of our youth arts group Breakin for Justice. Thank you Angles Creations for capturing this energy!  Click here to check out the video.
Viv Ncaus Places 1st
Our Viv Ncaus Dance Troupe has been busy lately, competing in the Hmong National Oshkosh Labor Day Festival Dance Competition and the Stevens Point Hmong New Year Dance Competition.  Big congrats to them for placing first in Stevens Point!!  They hope to continue connecting and building outside of the competition as well.
Queering Social Justice
On Aug 26 we held an event with poetry performance by T. Banks and a talk by M. Adams on the different reactions to the Orlando nightclub massacre from the mainstream LGBT community and the queer of color community.  It was co-sponsored by Our Lives, The Quare Endowment Fund, and OutReach LGBT Community Center.
