Believe in it® Athlete,

"Obstacles that you face in life can be very testing, but you have to realize that it isn't forever." - Zach Hodges.

Zach knows better than most what it means to overcome obstacles.  He is a two time Ivy league defensive player of the year.

Growing up he faced the loss of his parents, extreme poverty, homelessness and hunger. Zach said, "This kind of hunger is all consuming because you can't think of anything else expect that feeling in your stomach."

In the face of his adversity Zach set his dream on attending Harvard.  Life has taught Zach that success comes from belief in yourself and your ability to press on.

Watch Zach's four minute ESPN video here.

What obstacles are you facing?  What struggles are you fighting through right now?
Zach's advice is to remember that it is just a moment and it won't last forever.

Injury Update

For those of you that don't know one of our founders, Jared Montz, was in a severe mountain biking accident on April 16th.  You can read that update and see pictures here

I'm happy to report he is doing great!  Pictured above is Jared looking out on Lake Meade in Las Vegas after doing the Tunnels Trails.  It was a one hour and forty-five minute walk!  This was on his one month accident anniversary!

He walks everyday for an hour at a good pace, he's able to do office work and I'm happy to report he will make a full recovery!  All his fractures were minor.  He's just got a few more weeks in a neck brace and then he should be as good as new!

Thank you to everyone who sent in notes and well wishes.  Jared and the Believe in it® team and I appreciate you.
