A few reminders from Team #SaveDaredevil!

With the rapid growth of our mailing list since the first newsletter went out, many of you are now hearing from the campaign for the first time. For those of you who did miss our first "issue," it's available to read right here!

Our second full-length newsletter is scheduled for early next week. In the mean time, we've decided it might be a good idea to send out a reminder for campaign events happening this week. More on that below.

As many of you have probably noticed, It's been a very busy month for the #SaveDaredevil campaign. We will have reason to get back to the events of Friday's meetup in NYC - and that amazing billboard ad! – in our longer newsletter, but for anyone looking to catch up on what's been going on, we recommend going to our #SaveDaredevil Instagram account which features a lot of footage from the meetup which was attended by fans, as well as actors Royce Johnson and Geoffrey Cantor, and trainer (to Charlie Cox and others!) Naqam Washington.

Fanworks Initiative

Our special fanworks initiative kicked off today, but it is not too late to get on board! This is a great way for fans to show their appreciation for the show through creative pursuits, such as artwork, fanfiction, video compilations or any other way you could think of to celebrate Daredevil.

Today and tomorrow focus on fanart, and there is already a great selection of works posted to our Tumblr submission page, as well as on our other social media accounts.

Wednesday and Thursday have a special focus on fanfiction, while Friday is for fan videos. Saturday and Sunday round out the week and will feature works that don't belong in any of the previous categories, along with those that do. So, a great second chance for everyone to participate!

You can read all you need to know about this initiative on our website. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the submission form.

Fandom Without Fear Video

Let’s come together and show Marvel and Disney just how widespread and passionate this fanbase is and why we believe Daredevil is worth saving.

The idea for this campaign is simple. You hold up a white piece of paper that says #SaveDaredevil – or the equivalent in your native language, if you choose – and tell us why you believe that Daredevil is worth saving. The clip should be no longer than 15-30 seconds.

Feeling a bit shy about speaking on camera? Not a problem! We will accept high quality photos as well. The idea of all of this is to take the footage sent to us and edit it into one powerful video.

Please read the instructions on how to film the video (or take the picture), and how to submit on our website. We accept submissions through February so get back to us by Thursday of this week!

One final reminder is that our Daredevil rewatch has officially begun, featuring two choices of time zones. Miss the show and want to watch it with new friends? This is the event for you. And don't forget to tweet along!

Sincerely,

Team #SaveDaredevil
