Exciting new events beginning this March!

After an exciting month of February that brought world-wide attention to the #SaveDaredevil campaign – and got the fans' creative juices flowing with a successful Fanworks Initiative – the #SaveDaredevil team is looking to kick off the new month in style. There are two initiatives in particular we'd like to highlight here!

The #SaveDaredevil Golden Microwave Award

There are many things that make Daredevil a great show. One of them, without a doubt, are the fantastic fight scenes.

After years of being overlooked by the major awards shows, the #SaveDaredevil team wanted to find a way to properly honor the Daredevil stunt team, who have collectively created some of the most memorable fight scenes on television. We're doing that by letting you, the fans, pick the very best fight scene across three seasons.

So, if you ever needed a reason to rewatch all that sweet Daredevil action, this is your chance. We've even collected all the relevant clips in three playlists - one for each season. Our first round of voting will begin TODAY, March 8, and run through March 15 – with the top three fights of each season making it to the final round. All the information you need to participate in this event can be found on our website.

Are you wondering if there will be an actual statuette awarded to the actors and stunt professionals appearing in the winning scene? You bet! We're basing our 3D printed design on this wonderful sketch from a #SaveDaredevil fan named Meri.

And for those of you wondering why a microwave - it's one of the items thrown by Daredevil in the famous hallway scene from season one.

Vote for your top Daredevil fight scenes now!

We're writing to Hulu!

Beginning Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 29, we are doing a letter-writing initiative aimed at Hulu where we are asking the streaming service to #BeTheHero and #SaveDaredevil!

Why Hulu? After Disney's acquisition of Fox goes through in the near future, Disney is looking to own a majority stake in Hulu, a service which is already home to the Marvel Television show, The Runaways. Since the Disney+ platform will reportedly not be featuring mature content, the #SaveDaredevil campaign has long considered Hulu a good candidate for providing Daredevil with a new home.

And, we're not the only ones. Here's what head of original programming for Hulu, Mr. Craig Erwich, had to say when asked about a future for Daredevil:

"Marvel has a ton of titles we’d be interested in,” he said, when asked by TheWrap if Hulu would have interest in reviving one of those series.  “It kind of just depends on when they’re ready, [and] who, most importantly, is going to be behind these things."

Your messages can take whatever format you are most comfortable with - a brief note, a postcard, a thoughtful essay - as long as it shows your enthusiasm and passion and clearly reiterates our desire to see the same cast and creative team on the show.

Your messages can be sent directly to Hulu and Mr. Craig Erwich, but in order to make as much of an impact as possible, as a unified fandom, we want to schedule our emails and letters to arrive as closely together as possible. That means that for this particular event, we will use Wednesday as our email days (send out your emails on Wednesday) and Friday as our snail mail days (drop your letters off at the post office on Friday).

If you are writing from outside the United States and Canada, you may want to send your physical letters earlier than indicated above, depending on your home country, in order to adjust for the delay of international mail service.

Please have a look at our dedicated Write to Hulu page for information on where to send your letters, printable postcard files you can use for your own snail mail efforts, as well as some helpful pointers for best to get our message across.
