‘Making predictions is difficult, particularly about the future…’

This will be a very different newsletter than the one I planned last week. As much as we'd like to keep our doors open, we can't take the health risk, so as from today we will be switching to an online gallery until further notice. As many of you know, this is a very difficult decision for a business that only ever closed for a few days at Christmas!

However, we're going to embrace this new way of business with open arms; we plan to make our online gallery a haven from the unfolding horrors we're all facing, so if you feel the need to experience a calming virtual tour of the gallery (with no obligation to buy), we will be offering appointments for a Facetime private view. We’ll be releasing more details at the weekend on how and when this will start but, in the meantime please feel free to email us – we’re still here albeit behind closed doors!

We have two rare Robert Gillmor linocuts for sale, please see below for more information.

Our next exhibition, The Seal Coast  2-18th April by Rachel Lockwood was due to open on the 2nd April – so we’ve decided to go ahead but online only. We will be hanging the exhibition in the gallery as usual and offering Facetime private viewing. This will be our first exhibition offered this way – we don’t know how it will be received but we’re excited to try something new. On the next newsletter there will be images of the framed paintings, prices and sizes. But please email us if you have any questions in the meantime.

Suzanne Lawrence
We've just had a new collection delivered by this very popular North Norfolk artist. Wonderfully expressionistic with bags of freshness, we love Suzanne's landscapes!
Jane Hodgson
Jane has been out with the local fishermen and reedcutters, we have a lot more in the gallery ranging from small oil sketches to large oil on canvas paintings - the colour always look so much better in reality.

That's it for now. We'll be sending out prices for Rachel's show at the weekend but in the meantime please do email us if we can help.
We'll be regularly updating our Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages too.

Keep safe and hopefully see you in the summer.
We're getting some very helpful tips from our online little sister company. You can have a virtual browse and if you do want to make an order you'll get a complimentary selection of koi postcards.

If you do come to Cley you can be assured Picnic Fayre deli will be keeping its doors open for as long as they can.
