Virtual Walks Coming to
Oklahoma City, Tulsa & Stillwater

The world may look a little different right now, but one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to supporting the epilepsy community. That's why this year, the Walk to END EPILEPSY experience you love isn't going away — we're just bringing it to you, reimagined.

In Oklahoma and throughout the country, we are all joining together to make history as we complete the 2.6 Million Mile Challenge together! No matter where you live, each step and fundraising dollar helps the epilepsy community.

While we may be isolated geographically, we will be united in our hearts and mission to insist on hope and come together - as one - for the epilepsy community. While we won’t gather in person, we’ll be joining together for multiple uplifting virtual experiences over the coming months.

Let’s do this together, Oklahoma and show the world how strong we are for the 1 in 26.

If you're interested in volunteering, here is how you can help! This year, we are asking volunteers to help us in creating community connections by serving as Community Engagement Coordinators to support us in increasing the Epilepsy Foundation’s capacity to connect with community members through targeted phone calls. These volunteers will play a critical role in helping us reach out walk goals of collectively walking 2.6 million miles and raising $1.75 million dollars through engagement with 15,000+ walk participants nationwide! Training for this position will occur in February and the role will occur for 1-3 hours a week from March – June. To learn more and sign-up to participate please go here.

If you have questions about the Walk to END EPILEPSY please reach out to Andrew Edwards and Monique Hughes (walkinfo@efa.org). If you have any questions about the volunteer roles, please to reach out Valerie DiCristoforo (vdicristoforo@efa.org).
