Announcing the 2015 AVAC Advocacy Fellows

AVAC is delighted to announce the 2015 AVAC Prevention Research Advocacy Fellows
– the sixth class of Fellows! We hope you’ll join us in congratulating these seven talented advocates and find ways to collaborate with them in 2015 and beyond.
The 2015 Advocacy Fellows
were selected from a pool of 66 applicants from 13 countries. AVAC thanks all of the applicants and their proposed host organizations for the time and effort put into this process. We’re also grateful to the independent review committee of advocates, scientists and former Fellows that guided decision making.
The 2015 AVAC Advocacy Fellows are:
2015 will be an exciting year for HIV prevention research and implementation, bringing important developments on a number of fronts. It will also bring new challenges in taking results to policy and rollout, influencing the research agenda and ensuring civil society’s voices are heard. The 2015 Fellows have bold ideas to address many of these opportunities and challenges in their Fellowship year which begins on March 1.
