Under Stanford Stars

Leave behind the bright city lights in exchange for Stanford starry nights instead. Van Gogh would be inspired! Get close to nature. Pitch a tent under the star sprinkled sky. Light a warm fire and marvel from the majestic shadow of the Kleinriver Mountains at the southern night sky beyond, or book a dinner date and revel in the slow linger of the setting sun as it moves ever closer towards its full summer glory.

Spring Camping & Overnights
Let the kids discover the splendour of the Milky Way from within their sleeping bags at The Last Resort —a rustic campsite on Bluemoon Community Farm that offers a family-friendly paradise.
Hear an ancient forest come alive at night with hooting owls and the deep bark of a bushbuck, when you book a secluded spot at Platbos Forest Camp. This protected forest haven offers various carefully constructed campsites and cabins under the ancient milkwood trees.
Platbos Forest Camp
An outdoors tub at an overnight hut on the Fynbos Trail offers you the perfect place to enjoy a long undisturbed soak while you gaze heavenward.
If glamping is more your style, book a fully equipped luxury tent at AfriCamp on boutique wine farm Stanford Hills. Arrive and relax in style while you drink in the night-time quiet of this splendid setting at the foot of the Klein River Mountain range.
