Dear Friends:

We trust that you are enjoying a wonderful summer! It is a pleasure to send you a brief update on our ministry with Global University. The year 2016 is more than half complete and some wonderful things are happening!

Spotlight: Commencement

The highlight of any school's year is commencement and Global University is no exception. This year 801 students from 37 nations earned degrees and diplomas. It was quite a celebration as fifty one of those participated in the annual commencement ceremonies.

David's New Role

After serving the Graduate School of Theology for eighteen months, David has accepted the role of Provost of the University. The Provost is the Chief Academic Officer and exercises executive oversight of all four schools of the University. David views the new job as an opportunity to serve the mission of the University in a deeper way. Your faithfulness in financial and prayer support continue to make an investment in a new generation of Spirit-filled leaders.

Return to Egypt and Cuba

David plans to return to Egypt in October. He continues to have passion to nurture preachers as they learn to communicate God's Word in their cultural context. Naturally, David is excited about the opportunity to facilitate, in a Middle Eastern context, the course Preaching to Change Lives.

The church in Cuba is thriving and is emerging as a missionary force in its own right. As the Cuban Assemblies of God begins to commission their own missionaries, David has the opportunity to facilitate the foundational graduate course, The Biblical Theology of Missions. Pray for him as he travels to Cuba in December.

The associated expenses of facilitating courses is our missionary "cash project." If you are able to include a special gift toward this project, please indicate "Class 50" when sending your gift or making an online contribution.

Equipping a New Generation of Spirit-filled Leaders

On a daily basis, we work to "Win the Lost and Train the Found" through Global University. Thank you for your generous financial support and for your faithful prayer support. Words fail to describe our gratitude to God for you.
