Coffee Fact!
We've been getting more questions about which of our two coffee roasts is stronger, so here's some awesome coffee science for all you cool coffee lovers out there.

Ruckus Roast: a balance of body and acidity.
Ruckus Roast (a medium roast coffee) is our house coffee. It will have a slightly lighter color than After Dark (a dark roast), and will have a bright taste evened out with a medium body.

After Dark: a bold body and rich taste.
Compared to our Ruckus Roast, After Dark (a dark roast) is roasted longer and will appear almost black, showcasing the oils on the beans like a gorgeous coat on a Hollywood movie star. When drinking it, the bright flavors in a medium roast are replaced with a fuller body. There is also slightly less acidity in our After Dark.

So which one is stronger?
The funny thing about dark and medium roasts is there isn't a great difference in caffeine levels--it's the flavor and acidity that changes. Our house coffee, Ruckus Roast, has a "classic" coffee taste, and our After Dark will have a slightly bolder flavor and a little less acidity.
