Online Skills Test Help Clinics

Hibernia College UK (HCUK) will be running online help clinics on the 10th and 12th March 2015 designed to help trainee teachers refresh their knowledge and prepare for the Professional Skills Test in Numeracy.

Numeracy Test Help Clinics: 10th and 12th March 2015,

Split over two sessions, these online, interactive clinics will cover:

  • The application of general arithmetic and key mathematical concepts (percentages, fractions, decimals) in a test environment 
  • Tips and techniques on how to analyse and manipulate numerical and statistical data within test questions
  • Worked examples of each type of test question
  • Strategies on how to cope with timed question in test conditions

One session is available for £25 and both can be accessed for £40.

Clinics for the Literacy skills test are being planned for later in 2015 but by using the link below it is possible to register interest for these.

Whats included in an online help clinic?

The clinics are fully online and each will be led by an HCUK Maths teaching professional who will cover worked example questions, key concepts used in the test and explore strategies to cope with timed test questions.

In each session participants will have the chance to ask questions to the session leader.
