Private Lands Partners Day News
The next Private Lands Partners Day  will be held in North Platte, Nebraska  September 22-24, 2015.  This gathering of landowners  and conservation partners has been held annually since 2008 will be coming to Nebraska for the first time. What started as a very small conversation between a few landowners and conservation partners in the early years attracted over 125 attendees to the 2014 meeting in Starkville, Mississippi.  Partners for Conservation is very happy to be developing the 2015 meeting  with the Sand Hills Task Force ,a local landowner-led collaboration, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.  The field portion of the meeting will feature the Sand Hills (also written Sandhills) of Nebraska, a working landscape of rolling grasslands with many imbedded wetlands and lakes.  Watch for a Save the Date flyer soon in your inbox!  In January, Partners for Conservation will also begin the process of identifying a host landscape for the event in 2016.
