The Library made some service level adjustments last month due to the ongoing pandemic. As service changes are made, updates will be posted to the Current Library Services web page. To limit in-person interactions, please consider handling service needs online.

Mitchell Park and Rinconada Libraries are open for pickups, and limited browsing, studying and computer use. Masks are required for all visitors 3 years and up regardless of vaccination status. Please make sure your mask covers your nose and mouth before entering the Library. In order to prevent unmasking, please do not bring outside food or drink into the libraries.

Tuesday–Thursday: 11 AM–8 PM
Fridays & Saturdays: 12 PM–6 PM

Rinconada Library:

Wednesday–Saturday: 10 AM–6 PM

Wednesday, February 9 at 5 PM: How to Successfully Navigate College Admissions in 2022. Join us for this informative workshop on competitive admissions due to the pandemic. Register for this event to receive the Zoom link!

Adult Events:

IN-PERSON Income Tax Preparation by VITA: Our VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) IRS-certified volunteers are back to provide free basic 2021 income tax return preparation to qualified individuals. Assistance is offered every Saturday from January 29 through April 16 from 10 AM–3 PM. Please note the following:

VIRTUAL Tax Assistance will be available via Zoom starting Saturday, January 29 through February 12. Please fill out this form to schedule a Zoom appointment: Zoom Tax Assistance Program.
IN-PERSON Tax Assistance will start Saturday, February 19 at the Mitchell Park Community Center in the Adobe Room. This service is drop-in, first come, first served. FACE MASKS REQUIRED!
