Palo Alto City Library
Happy October! We hope you’re ready for cooler weather, cozy sweaters and spooky tales!
Explore our blog this month for:
  • Events, stories, and resources to celebrate Latinx & Hispanic Heritage Month
  • Great Halloween ideas and activities, and books lists for adults, teens and kids
  • News about the latest addition to our robot family, a community-built FarmBot! Following the success of library robots Dewey and Elsie, we received an innovation grant from the Pacific Libraries Partnership to expand our robotics program. Learn how we built an agricultural robot from scratch with the local Space Cookies team and various City departments.
The Friends of Palo Alto Library will be holding their monthly book sale on October 9 & 10. Many thanks to our Friends for supporting library collections and events.

Tumblebooks is a collection of eBooks for kids with over 300 video read-a-longs to pick from—they're not really cartoons or movies, more like illustrated audiobooks. Our eLibrary News blog recently highlighted an advanced search tip using this collection that you can’t anywhere else.

Access our eLibrary 24/7 and a variety of other online resources with your library card!
