Nepris is proud to host an Industry Chat Series from OtterBox in November, covering the full development of a new product: from original innovation to final sale. Attend one Chat to focus on a specific topic, or all four of the compounding sessions to get the full product lifecycle breakdown.
November 4 • 12:15pm ET | 11:15am CT
Audience: Grades 6-12

Using OtterBox uniVERSE Case System as an example, students will be given an overview of the innovation process, including several helpful tools and frameworks they can start using immediately.

November 7 • 12:15pm ET | 11:15am CT
Audience: Grades 6-12

Next, students will learn how the engineering team at OtterBox transforms its concepts into reality, from prototype design and functionality testing to tooling and production.

November 9 • 12:15pm ET | 11:15am CT
Audience: Grades 6-12

Once the product is ready, it's time to get it in front of customers! The OtterBox marketing department explains how they launch a new product and market it to their consumers via a brand campaign communicated through omni-channel efforts including website, social media, PR, and retail.

November 10 • 12:15pm ET | 11:15am CT

Sales. The final piece of the puzzle. In this session, students will learn about building and maintaining relationships with retail partners and planning promotional activities for every retail store that carries the OtterBox product.

Are your students ready to test their product creation and marketing skills? Sign them up for the uniVERSE Student Challenge.

Open to students in grades 7-12 (ages 13-18), the challenge asks students to invent a new module idea for the uniVERSE Case System for a chance to win a new iPhone and a VIP trip to the OtterBox headquarters in Fort Collins. Three winning schools will also receive grant funding towards an Innovation Station. Click on the image below to learn more.
