Become a Data Wonk!
Using Data for Quality Improvement Training Available
At our Washington County Kids Summit in January the discussion groups brainstormed ideas for staff training that they would like to see offered. The #! choice was training in collecting and manipulating data. We all know that having good data helps you improve your programs and tell your stories when you apply for funding.
We have arranged to have a training on this topic on the morning of June 18th from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Brookwood Library in Hillsboro. This date is right after school ends in June and, hopefully, right before your summer program starts! Training will be provided by an expert trainer from Oregon ASK (Oregon After School Kids).
In this session participants will explore various kinds of data from real afterschool programs. They will practice drawing conclusions from the data and connecting the data to program improvements. Oregon Registry Credit: Set 2, 3 hours, Observation and Assessment
All materials, a continental breakfast, and snacks will be provided. The charge for participation will be $25/person. Arrangements can be made for scholarships.
Please contact Washington County Kids if you and/or members of your staff are interested in attending this outstanding program: firstname.lastname@example.org
Reservations are on a first come/first served basis and space is limited.
