Help Us Change The Conversation

The evidence is clear: Out of School Time programs make a difference. Join WCK and help us provide children and youth equal access to the programs they need to succeed.

Give Today

In 2019 we were able to:
  • Spread the word via a video campaign and in our local print media
  • Provide important program materials in English and Spanish
  • Expand our social media presence
  • Table at various local events to meet with our community
  • Grow our network and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers
But we're just getting started. Thanks to an energized board and dedicated volunteers, 2020 will be a big year for WCK and Out of School Time Programs. Join us as we raise the bar, for ourselves and our community.

Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season!

Thank You for supporting Washington County Kids and the programs that strengthen our community.

Join OregonASK and your local Washington County Child Care Resource & Referral network in an emergency preparedness community conversation. We want to hear from you to help ensure that child care providers and school-age programs can be adequately prepared, ‘2 Weeks  Ready’ in the case of a man-made or natural emergency. This 2 Week Ready work is part of a multi year project OregonASK is participating in to help more school age programs become adequately prepared and connected with emergency preparedness resources. We hope that you will be able to join us on January 28th to share your local expertise and learn more about resources developed for Oregon communities.

We've heard that Cascadia, the big PNW earthquake is coming, but
how prepared are we for when it does come? The last ten years
have proven that 72 hours of being prepared is no longer
adequate when disasters occur. The most recent recommendations
from Oregon Office of Emergency Management (OEM) have
changed to communities being at least 2 WEEKS READY.
Whether your personal or organizational mission is centered around
emergency preparedness or not, we hope you might consider
joining OregonASK in a community conversation to discuss barriers
and resources to increase safety within your community child care centers and afterschool programs.
