I am grateful to all the NCJ bishops. Their weekly messages and reflections remind me that the church is being the church and that relationships are being nurtured and strengthened in many different ways. Counting days by the number of Zoom calls can take away the joy of making connections with others in any one of the many circles of relationships we hold so dear. This week, Bishop Dyck reminded me to be joyful; that even in all my whining and frustration, good things are happening.  ~tk
" Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
~ Philippians 4:4-6 (NRSV)
