Did you know that the reason people become owner-members is because they hear a friend or neighbor share their hope and excitement about a cooperative market in the North County area? Tell a friend.
Membership is our #1 goal in 2022. Founding Owners are local visionaries who see the possibility of a community owned grocery store, who long to take control of our regional food supply chain, and who believe in the power of cooperation and grassroots work. Visionaries see the future and work toward it. We need 500 founding owner-members to see the vision and go to the next step to open our store. What are you waiting for?

FYI 25 new members (in 2021) said they heard about Paso Food Co-op via social media. 21 new members (in 2021) & 4 new members (in 2022) heard about Paso Food Co-op because of someone they know and is already a member.
The Co-op’s path is steady: to continue to plan, organize, promote, and encourage community members to understand the cooperative model and why, collectively, we think it is needed in our community. Membership is key.

Wild Onion Market is a sister co-op in Rogers Park, Chicago. They have 1152 founding owner-members and signed the lease for their store. They plan to OPEN this year!!!
