Join us for our first-ever Blessing of the Pets service at our new pavilion on Sunday, November 4, at 4:00 p.m. All leashed pets or pets in carriers welcome.
The Brave Special Olympics Banquet. On Sunday, November 11, at 6:00 p.m. the Brave Special Olympics team will return for the 8th AGLC-sponsored Sports Banquet. This year’s theme is “Reaching for the Stars.” The Brave provides continued engagement among peers, community and nation for young adult athletes who have aged out of school programs. The Brave is is growing in numbers and sporting events (please consider sharing your skills by volunteering to assist or coach). Banquet volunteers needed: If you can assist with the banquet please sign up at the Outreach kiosk. Volunteers are needed for set up, food preparation, serving athletes and their families, and tear down. For information, please contact Kim Haggerty.
Endowment Corner. Churches tend to operate with three kinds of financial tools: operating fund that pays salaries and keeps the lights on, capital campaigns that allow us to take on bigger things like construction projects, and the endowment fund which works with gifts that are designated beyond the day-to-day operation of the church.

The plan is that once the endowment fund reaches a certain goal, a small portion of the fund will be used each year, so the remainder is left to grow. Over time, as gifts are made to it and the principal grows, the endowment fund will become a substantial way for Abiding Grace to expand its mission in the world for generations to come.

For more details, such as how you can give above-and-beyond to the endowment fund or specify the endowment fund in your will or estate plan, contact Ray Morrell, Pastor Nick at 817-601-7128, or the InFaith Community Foundation at 800-365-4172 (where our Endowment Fund is held).
