We Need Your Input!
The City of Dripping Springs, along with expert guidance from the National Park Service (NPS)and the Dripping Springs Trails Plan Advisory Committee, is working on a master plan for trails development in the city and its surrounding extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ). Currently, the City is seeking community input on a variety of issues, including route alignments and use pattern.
A World-Class Trail
The City of Dripping Springs and NPS staff envision a world-class trail system that connects different areas within the city limits ETJ. This trail system will provide a network of routes that allow residents and visitors to walk, bike, run or hike.
Variety of Trail Experiences
The proposed routes will also provide a variety of trail experiences, from paved multi-use paths to natural hiking trails. The routes will connect destinations beyond Dripping Springs and will take advantage of opportunities to reach the proposed Violet Crown Trail and other regional trails and parks planned for Central Texas.
Welcoming and Safe
Most importantly, the Dripping Springs Trails System will include design that is welcoming and safe for diverse users and will provide opportunities for all ages, abilities and levels of mobility.
