We are pleased to share the Advocacy Committee's February update highlighting our grantees and issues impacting Jewish women and girls.
On Monday, February 29th you have the opportunity to dive deep into one of the priority issues for our Foundation, Illinois' Religious Refusal Laws: Implications for the Jewish Community. As you know, for the past two years JWF has funded the ACLU’s work on this important topic. Working with the JCRC/Government Affairs Committees, we have put together a group of key thought leaders to help us grabble with the implications of current Illinois law and opportunities for change. We will hear the legal, legislative, and Jewish perspectives.
As Trustees, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, and cousins, we need to know how this law affects our families and our community. I hope you will join us. Register now!
As always, please feel free to pass along any information you think we should share with our Trustees.

Sara Kalish, Senior Program Officer
