The God’s Own galloper won the $100,000 Antler Luggage Hcp (2000m) at Flemington on Saturday to complete a fairy-tale carnival for the Mornington horseman.  “I've had him from Day 1,” Hunter said.  “He’s been running out of his class but this was the right race and he put them away pretty well.”

Stable Favourite Salutes In Adelaide

Seasoned sprinter Jayconi is a stable favourite of Denistoun Park trainer Jason Warren.
The lightly raced son of Swettenham Stud sire Bianconi has won 6 of his 19 starts and the latest victory came as a $2.70 favourite in the Bogatec Hcp (1000m) at Morphettville on Saturday.  Racing first-up since July, he scored by over a length from Dubawi Gold (Dubawi) and El Prado Gold (Artie Schiller) clocking a quick 57.28s.

Heritage Winner Highlights Chatswood Stud

Melrose Place is a daughter of Purrealist who began his stud career at Makybe before transferring to Chatswood last year.  “It’s a special win because I prepared her sire and dam,” trainer Danny O’Brien said.  “She has always shown ability but hasn't had a lot of luck in a couple of her runs.”
