Mardi Gras Madness Returns in January

A new year means a new Mardi Gras season! Members of Shreveport-Bossier’s Mardi Gras krewes will welcome the season during their annual Twelfth Night Celebration on Saturday, Jan. 4 at Bossier Civic Center. Tickets are available now for the party, which will feature an open bar, live music, and—in the anything-goes spirit of Carnival season—a performance by an Elvis tribute artist.

Other Mardi Gras festivities coming up in January include the Krewe of Sobek Parade on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds and the Krewe of Harambee Martin Luther King Jr. Day Mardi Gras Parade on Monday, Jan. 20 in downtown Shreveport. Shreveport-Bossier’s largest Mardi Gras events take place during the month of February.
