RTD Fares are Expensive - let's talk about tradeoffs | Data-Centric Shared Micromobility Resources | Broomfield is Refreshing its "OSPRT" Master Plan | Bike to Work Day Open House on May 11| Sister Organization Launches New WebsiteNews to Peruse — read on!
RTD listens to its customers: their fares are expensive and difficult to understand.

In response, RTD has implemented a Systemwide Fare Study and Equity Analysis to reexamine the RTD fare system holistically, taking into consideration equity, affordability, and simplicity.

It's a complicated name for a simple four-step process: RTD will collect feedback on challenges and preferences, then will outline conceptual programs and collect feedback, then will identify alternatives and present to the RTD Board, and will finally return to the public for comment on the alternatives.

We hear often how complicated and expensive RTD fares are. Now is the moment to let RTD know what you think.

"Shared Micromobility" is a rapidly changing landscape. Denver B-Cycle started in 2010, and presented a radical and new way for people to travel within a specific area.  Since B-Cycle's beginning, shared mobility options, and micromobility, have constantly evolved.

DRCOG and the Colorado Electric Vehicle Coalition’s Micromobility Subgroup published a nice "storymap" that provides a local, map-based history of micromobility in the region that's worth checking out.

Additionally, DRCOG, in partnership with our local jurisdictions, has just created a portal in the "public ride report" for the region: the Denver Region Shared Micromobility Portal
This portal is worth exploring to better visualize how micromobility is changing in our region.

The City and County of Broomfield is refreshing the Open Space, Parks, Recreation and Trails ("OSPRT") Master Plan.

This research will build upon the 2005 version of the Master Plan and will reflect, enhance, and refine the 2016 Comprehensive Plan goals for Open Space, Parks, Recreation and Trails. The strategy is to offer fast, fun, and convenient ways for residents to contribute their feedback.

Your comments will inform the Master Plan results! Leave your questions and comments about the OSPRT plan at broomfieldvoice.com/hub-page/osprtmasterplan.
