Since my last dispatch in May I presented my work in progress Restless Night, I moved out of New York City and relocated to my home town of Seattle, Washington. I am very happy to be back in the land of trees and mountains but harbor a deep and abiding reverence for all the incredible people and experiences I had in the last ten years in NYC.
I took the opportunity after moving to travel. I've experienced many changes, countries, languages and feelings in the last 8 months. It has been great fun and a great challenge.
Here is a list of places I've been and some highlights since June:
Needless to say this journeying has taught me many things. Some old lessons were hammered home including, introduce yourself to everyone, ask every question, and don't put anything off because you might not pass this way again.
Currently, I am looking forward to performing in the work of Tara Dyberg on February 20th and 21st in Seattle. Afterwards, Phantom Limb will keep me traveling as we work on our next show, Memory Rings. First stop, Abu Dhabi. I will then be moving through Berlin on the way back to the states. If you have suggestions on must see people, places or things, let me hear them!
As we hurtle through 2015 I wish you great energy. May the rest of the year bring you joy and purpose. Tally - ho!
Post Script:
Remember that improvisation project I did last year?
This is what happened on this day in 2014 in San Francisco.
