Transitioning Technology 2B Healthy
Transitioning Technology in the healthiest way during the complex time!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, families have an opportunity to take advantage of technology in so many heathy ways, while keeping a balance and watching out for too much screen time!
Here are a few things we'll discuss:
  • Helping kids to keep their brains active and engaged. What are healthy ways to have distance learning?
  • Connecting with family friends long distance, and even local – now virtually.
  • Finding creative ways to use technology for self care.
  • Meditation.
  • Work out apps and work out classes.
  • Reading.
  • Drawing. (old school pen and paper!)
  • Taking tech-free times and creating tech-free zones in your home.
  • Importance of connecting when you are present with others.
  • Shutting down the home office.
  • Shutting down home school place.
  • Balance:  how to find it.
  • Schedule:  routine – sleep hygiene – nutrition• Being mindful of dehydration and other signs of health concerns.

Learn more about Parent Partnership
The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has us all trying to navigate some uncharted territory with regard to "Social Distancing."

Many of us rely on community connections, whether in the form of mutual-aid organizations and other support groups, to fortify and maintain our recovery.

One of the benefits of living in our modern world is the access to resources by way of smart phones, laptops, and other electronic devices. Even landlines afford us access to phone meetings.
