Newsletter Survey Results

Thank you to all who participated in the brief newsletter survey.  Based on the feedback received, since 80% of readers felt that our newsletter should be distributed, monthly, we will begin doing so immediately.  Please be sure to look for your HRAC newsletter on the first Monday of each month.

In addition, the results proved the preferred job postings are those in the marketing, finance/accounting, and management fields.  We will work to accommodate these preferences.  However, we do not wish to completely eliminate other postings, so while you may see more of the preferred posts, we will continue to include postings in all fields of business

Over the next few months, other responses will be analyzed and addressed as well but will not take immediate effect.  Again, thank you for your contributions.

16.   Tell us an embarrassing story.  One time I was out with friends and co-workers at the Langley bowling alley (it was packed); we had set up a bowling night just to hang out on Friday evening.  I recently purchased my first and only bowling ball and was ready to show everyone what it could do.  So after bowling a few frames, I was getting used to the ball and was now trying "trick shots."  As I went to throw the ball, I created too much momentum and when my foot slid across the line, I was propelled into the lane.  I actually slid about two-thirds down the lane, legs kicking and arms flailing about trying to maintain balance...but to no avail.  I landed right in the gutter and bruised my entire left side of my body plus my ego.  I had to hobble back up the lane which is hard since the lane is oiled up, and I sat down without a single word.  I was totally embarrassed, but I was able to still enjoy the night.  I love bowling, but every time I do, it's hard not to forget that night!
