Elections this Saturday!

Join us at the first general body meeting of 2016!  This will be a very important meeting as we will hold elections for our 2016 officers as well as discuss some new topics.

The meeting will be held on Saturday, March 12 at noon upstairs at the Lubo Wine Tasting Room (1658 Pleasure House Rd) in Virginia Beach.  Please remember that you must pay membership dues ($25) in order to vote.

We encourage that as many of you that are able will attend this meeting.  Get there early to order from their delicious brunch menu or grab some discounted mimosas!

Join or Renew your Membership

This week is the last week to join the chapter for 2016 and still get in on the voting at the first meeting.  Will you join us this year as we continue to grow the chapter to make it bigger and better?

In addition to being an official chapter member, your dues will allow you to attend special member-only events, give you voting privileges, provide you an opportunity to be an officer or committee member, and (once partnered with the Chamber of Commerce) offer free or discounted entry to events as well as retail discounts.

Dues are $25 and provides membership through December 31.  They may be paid in person or online by clicking here.  To vote in the March 12, elections, your dues must be paid prior to the start of the meeting.  You can bring in payment that morning as well

Super Bowl Squares

The Hampton Roads Alumni Chapter Exec Board would like to thank everyone who participated in our Super Bowl Squares fundraiser.  We successfully filled all of the squares on both the $2 and $5 sheets.  A total of $525 was awarded to the winners and the chapter raised $175.

Again, we thank you for your support and participation.  As we continue to try to provide more activities for members this year, we hope to host a few more fundraisers in the future.

Top Golf Outing

It's the craze that's sweeping Virginia Beach!  Top Golf, which opened in December, combines golf, bowling, and a VIP bar atmosphere to provide an amazing outing for young adults.  Mark your calendar to join us on Saturday, April 23 at 4pm.  HRAC members will be able to participate at a discounted rate (food and drinks not included).  Watch for more details on Facebook and in the April newsletter!
