Welcome to my first issue of "The Good Fruit" newsletter by Natural Fruit FertilityCare Services.
Since Valentine's Day is this week, let's talk about SPICE.
SPICE stands for Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Creative & Communicative, and Emotional. These are some of the ways that couples can interact with each other sexually as man and woman. We mention that couples should always interact with each other in these SPICE ways, even (and especially) if it is a time when they are avoiding pregnancy.
Sexual interaction can be:
Spiritual:
♥ Pray together.
♥ Serve one another.
♥ Recognize the image of God in one another.
♥ Pray for one another.
♥ Attend church together.
Physical:
♥ Hug & kiss each other.
♥ Hold hands.
♥ Cuddle.
♥ Go for a walk.
♥ Work on a project together.
Intellectual:
♥ Read together.
♥ Discuss your family planning intentions.
♥ Listen to one another.
♥ Dream together.
♥ Respect each other.
Creative:
♥ Give flowers.
♥ Make a special meal.
♥ Write love letters.
♥ Plan a date night out.
♥ Travel or go sight seeing.
Emotional:
♥ Make time for each other every day.
♥ Discuss your feelings.
♥ Resolve problems.
♥ Laugh together.
♥ Trust each other.
I hope that you are able to incorporate some of these examples into your day.
This Valentine's Day is extra special for me because it is also my 10th wedding anniversary! I am looking forward to our planned date night out next week.
Have a fruitful Valentine's Day!
