Dry/Limited Mucus & Creighton For Achieving

Dear clients & friends,

Welcome to my eighteenth issue of "The Good Fruit" newsletter by Natural Fruit FertilityCare Services.

This week I'm going to talk about how to manage dry/limited mucus cycles that don't have a Peak Day and how the Creighton Model System can be used to achieve a pregnancy, including some resources for infertility and miscarriage.

NaProTechnology patients are often told to time their blood draws and ultrasound exams or to start or stop a certain cycle-related medication based on their cycle's Peak Day. Of course, the Peak Day is important to know when trying to conceive as well, since it is an estimate of the time of ovulation (since estrogen rises to its highest point the day before ovulation and estrogen is the hormone that stimulates the cervical crypts to produce the mucus discharge). But, what if there is no Peak Day in a cycle? In fact, many of my clients have experienced limited mucus cycles that have no Peak Day (no clear, stretchy, or lubricative mucus) in them. In this case, we can find an essential sameness pattern (ESP) for their observations and place an "L" on the "last day of the change." The L would have the 3-day countdown after it and be considered an alternative Peak Day. In the example chart above, which is a dry cycle, in an alternate management approach, the shiny without lubrication (4) observation can be considered fertile and represented with white baby stamps. Then, instead of a "P" for Peak Day, a "L" is placed on the last day of this pattern.
A couple of years ago, I wrote an article about how the Creighton Model System and NaProTechnology can be used to achieve pregnancy (which can be found here - http://naturalfruitfertilitycare.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Infertility-And-Miscarriage-Help.pdf). Over the years, I have gathered together a list of great books on the topic of infertility and miscarriage (and adoption), many that have helped me personally on my journey through it. You can see my current recommendations on Goodreads - https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/93282564-patricia-deshane?shelf=infertility-miscarriage-adoption. Finally, there is another excellent resource for couples dealing with the emotional aspect of infertility, which is an audio program available for purchase from Organic Conceptions. Readers of my newsletter can now get 10% off of their monthly subscription of the online audio course by using the discount coupon code NATURALFRUIT10 on the Organic Conceptions website - https://www.organic-conceptions.com/purchase.
Have a fruitful day!
