20 photographs show how landscapes work 

Over the last 3 months, over 300 photographs were submitted to the Global Landscapes Forum photo competition. Our jury has chosen 3 winners and 17 finalists who best captured interactions in landscapes. "The Guardian of Palcacocha" by Niels Ackermann takes first prize.

Agriculture still accounts for 80% of deforestation worldwide. As recent commitments show, public and private actors are moving – but are they moving fast enough? At the Global Landscapes Forum, session hosts will pitch their solutions:
