The Danger Behind One Texas School District's Benadryl Policy

The Weatherford Independent School District in Texas recently created a policy that states school staff should give Benadryl for food allergy reactions. This practice creates a lot of concern. Epinephrine is the first line of defense for anaphylaxis. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (KFA is a division of AAFA) sent a letter to the Weatherford ISD board. Mastering a Milk Allergy

FDA Application Withdrawn for Children's Peanut Patch

In December, DBV Technologies withdrew their FDA application for the Viaskin Peanut patch for ages 4 to 11. They plan to resubmit their application as soon as possible. Read more about this development.
