AAFA Ranks the Top 100 Most Challenging Places to Live With Asthma for 2019

Today on World Asthma Day, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) released our 2019 Asthma Capitals Report™. It ranks the top 100 metropolitan cities that are most challenging to live in with asthma. The report also includes personal stories from people with asthma and steps we can all take to improve asthma rates.

“We publish the Asthma Capitals to help those who live in these cities recognize, prevent and manage asthma symptoms,” AAFA President and CEO Kenneth Mendez states. “The research helps highlight how communities can make improvements to better serve their residents with asthma. By using this information, communities can see where they can direct their focus to make improvements and reduce the impact of asthma.”

Springfield, Massachusetts, is #1 on our list for the second year in a row. Visit asthmacapitals.com to read the full report.
