Milena Court
Now... Growth Product Manager at BlaBlaCar!

"Coming from a more marcomms background, I enrolled in CF:G Beginners and Advanced coding classes last year and soon discovered my techy side. Since then I moved internally in the startup I work for, BlaBlaCar, to a role in the Data Intelligence team as a Growth Project Manager. My job is to build data solutions and extract insights to guide decision makers and inform the company's strategy.

My role allows me to interact with a variety of people from devs to data engineers, product managers, marketing teams etc., who work with me on creating scalable data tools. My coding experience is a strong advantage in my everyday meetings with the techy people I work with and it also allowed me to have enough confidence to make this career change without an engineering background."

Have you recently started a new role in tech or entrepreneurship? Have you presented at an amazing conference, won an award or built something exciting?

If so, we want to know about it!

Email your name, role, and company name with a picture to info@codefirstgirls.org.uk, and we'll be picking out the best to profile in the next newsletter.
