Members of our community doing amazing things:

Harini Manivannan

Now... Operations Manager at Provenance !

"After finishing my masters, I completed the London General CF: G course in October 2015 and then swiftly joined the advanced Python CF: G course in January 2016.

I am now the operations manager at Provenance, a blockchain technology start up. My day to day role usually includes a range of activities from admin, finance, HR to business modelling, sales, customer discovery and support to analytics.

Learning to code has been invaluable for this role because it allows me to interact confidently with users/customers to help them use our software. Indirectly it has also helped me appreciate and understand our core blockchain technology."

Members of our community doing amazing things:

Anne Byrne
Now... Associate Software Engineer at The Guardian!

"Since completing the CF: G Beginners and Ruby course this year, I joined the Guardian digital development team in May, as an Associate Software Engineer on the Fellowship scheme.

This is a scheme that addresses the gap for those who are self-taught coders, who may not have a typical CompSci background but are passionate about technology and importantly, that bring external experience and skills to their role. You learn on the job and get mentoring support..

I've joined the Memberships team which is cross-departmental, both tech and editorial. We're working on the proposition to deepen the relationship with our readers."

Members of our community doing amazing things:

Elizabeth Chesters

Now... UX Consultant at RedEye

Congratulations to our fantastic CF: G One to Watch 2016 and lead Instructor Elizabeth Chesters! Elizabeth recently started in her new role as UX Consultant at RedEye. You can read more about her experience at the company, and her work with Code First: Girls in her blog post here

(Matt is on the right-hand side!)

"Very involved and supportive."
- Valentine

James Camden, London General Level39 Beginners!

"James is very enthusiastic. That to me is when I learn the best. If you interact with someone who loves what s/he's doing, you get more interested and involved in the subject and you tend to learn a lot." - Ekaterina
