Christmas is here!
After an absolutely amazing 2015 for CF: G we're winding down for Christmas, but don't worry it's not for long. Find out more about the fantastic events and opportunities we have coming up for 2016... 
December Update
 
This month it's all been about events for Code First: Girls. We ran not one, but two Hack Your Career events, including our first ever Scottish event. Not to mention our Masterclass on Git from 8th Light Craftsmen, and our Christmas party!
 
A Practical Guide to Git, November 24th
 
We held a very successful "Practical Guide to Git" Masterclass with some talented 8th Light Craftsmen and Apprentices.  If you couldn't make it or want to know more, you can see our tweets from the event @CodeFirstGirls #practicalgit.
Hack Your Career @IBM, December 2nd

We had a brilliant start to our first ever Scottish Hack Your Career event at IBM Edinburgh in December. We're looking forward to running more Scottish events in the future! Many thanks to Saoirse Stankard and Mary Chan, our dedicated CF: G Edinburgh and St Andrews ambassadors who were the CF: G Representatives on the day.
Hack Your Career in Fintech, December 3rd

Our Hack Your Career in Fintech, hosted by Bank of America Merrill Lynch London on the 3rd of December offered a fascinating insight into the varied career opportunities in Fintech. If you weren't able to be there you can see some of our tweets @CodeFirstGirls #Fintech #Womenintech
Amali de Alwis PWC Blog, December 15th
 
This month Amali de Alwis, CEO of CF: G, was a panelist on a PwC Passionate about London podcast on Tech talent for London businesses. You can read her blog post here to read more on how businesses can tap into female tech talent from a young age. 
CF: G Xmas Party, December 14th

We had a brilliantly attended CF: G Christmas party on Monday 14th December. It was a great chance to see some old and new faces and have a toast to an even bigger and better 2016. Wishing everyone from our CF: G community a very happy Christmas & New Year!

Grace Copplestone, CFG 2013 graduate has been working as Head of Operations at Hack Partners. She's moving onto a different role and looking for someone to take on her position. The role is fast paced, very varied and a perfect opportunity for someone to throw themselves into the startup world. As Head of Ops you'd be working alongside River Baig and Alejandro Saucedo who are incredibly driven and happy to hand over as much responsibility as you're happy to handle.
