CIMC Staff Participated in WIOA State Plan: Roadshow for Public Input
Roadshows for Public Input were held to communicate the vision and strategies; receive feedback/input on how the State of California (via the State Plan) can better facilitate regional leadership, alignment with industry, system integration for scale, new ideas and innovative practices, etc; engage local boards and their stakeholders; and set-up for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) regional planning. CIMC staff attended all Roadshows in CIMC's service area during the month of December 2015. CIMC staff were able to share comments for inclusion and collaborative work at the sessions.

Thank you to our 2015-16 CIMC Leadership Training for Entrepreneurial / Small Business / Economic Development Sponsors:
We also appreciate the support of our CIMC Native American Workforce Investment Council Members (Ben Bendel, Kim Edward Cook, and Dave Singleton).
As in years past, CIMC continues to see a severe decrease in funding from the US Department of Labor and is finding it increasingly more difficult to cover the expenses of this training. As such, we continue to seek support for the continuation of this investment in Native communities.
