Dear Ones,

Just a couple of important things for you. The first is news regarding Celebrate Life 2021.

You may know that due to Covid-19, the City of Denver is limiting attendance at planned outdoor events. That, unfortunately, will preclude Respect Life Denver from hosting our Celebrate Life events in January, which annually attracts thousands of people to downtown Denver for a rally and march.

Given our prudential decision, we are recommending that individual parishes across the state designate Saturday, Jan. 23, as a day to hold a special Respect Life Mass. That is the closest weekend to the Roe v Wade anniversary of Jan. 22nd. In the near future, we can supply your parish with applicable Mass materials. Please let us know of your interest by emailing: life@ccdenver.org

As always, we invite you to continue to join Respect Life Denver in championing the prolife cause and participating in efforts including Prayer in the Square, Respect Life Radio, 40 Days for Life Denver and the Our Lady of Fatima Statue pilgrimage.

Note: If your parish is not participating in the monthly Prayer in the Square effort, why not consider starting one now? It’s simple, wonderful, effective, and community building! Contact our office at life@ccdenver.org for complete information.

Corrections: regarding our list reporting on those organizations in Colorado that opposed Proposition 115: Colorado Rising State Action was incorrectly listed, they encouraged YES votes…on the other hand, the Colorado Medical Society encouraged a NO vote.
