Celebrate Life to be on Saturday, June 24, 2023:For years, our Celebrate Life rally and march has been held at the Colorado State Capitol in January, the same month as the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, with many thousands of us bearing witness outside. But as the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in the Dobbs case last June put an end to Roe v. Wade, the landscape of the pro-life movement has changed, as well, and we want to celebrate life in a new way for pro-life warriors in Colorado. The Celebrate Life events will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023. That date will be the one-year anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court decision in the Dobbs case. We will keep you updated with details.
Pro-Life Conversion Story of Dr. Bruchalski Featured at Gospel of Life Event: More than 300 people attended a Gospel of Life event, held Feb. 3 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Parish in Windsor. They heard the amazing pro-life conversion story of Dr. John Bruchalski, M.D., the founder of Tepeyac OB/GYN in Fairfax, Va., and author of "Two Patients: My Conversion from Abortion to Life-Affirming Medicine” (Ignatius Press). They also heard from Dr. Kevin Tool, M.D., and Dr. Audrey Tool, M.D., who are helping Catholic Charities develop and lead Marisol Health Fort Collins, opening in Spring 2024. See Beacon of Hope Videos: The annual Beacon of Hope Gala, held Jan. 28, was a success in supporting Marisol Services of Catholic Charities of Denver. Archbishop Samuel J. Eucharistic Procession on March 25 for an End to Abortion: Amid the 40 Days for Life campaign, plan to join the Eucharistic Procession, which will take place 10 a.m. Saturday, March 25, on the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. Led by Bishop Jorge Rodríguez, we will process with the Blessed Sacrament three times around Planned Parenthood, 7155 E. 38th Ave. in Denver, and finish at the Stations of the Cross prayer garden behind Marisol Health. How to Help Pregnant Women through Footprints: Respect Life Denver, a ministry of Catholic Charities of Denver, has unveiled a new parish resource called Footprints. The purpose is to equip parishes with a practical program to spiritually and emotionally support single Catholic women facing an unexpected pregnancy.
